Green Lawn Mowers

Manual mowers are environmentally friendly and can save you money. They do not require gasoline or electricity. There is no engine to repair or maintain.

The new manual mowers are very light and easy to use.

I was tired of the noise, smell, and impact on the environment that the gas mowers and blowers were making. After reducing the size of my lawn, by planting a huge vegetable garden and California Native Plants, I switched to a manual mower.

Manual mowers are now available that have grass catchers. I choose to let the grass clippings fall gently into the grass. The grass seems to like the new mower and is very green.
