Pismo Beach is located on the central coast of California and is a great place to go for a relaxing vacation. You can surf, swim, fish, hike, view wildlife, and ride dirt bikes or horses on the beach. Finding a place to stay in Pismo Beach is easy. You can rent a house, stay at an Inn overlooking the ocean, or camp. Many of the motels accept dogs of all sizes and breeds. Dogs are allowed on the beach. The shops in Pismo Beach have reasonable prices and many of the restaurants have outdoor tables. We spotted quite a few families dining outdoors with their canine companions. The Cottage Inn is our favorite place to stay, but there are lots of other nice places too. The Cottage Inn offers rooms with a view of the ocean and has an environmentally friendly garden with many place to sit and view whales and other sea mammals.
