We purchased a living Christmas tree growing in a pot again this year. Cut trees are dry and dead. Cut trees are also a fire hazard. We chose a living tree that stayed fresh and green all through the holiday season. In January, we donated our living tree to a park. Some people use the same living tree for several years before planting it. This is a great way to save money.
